If you do not receive your mail via a PO Box, you may receive your utility bills later than in the past.  Due to a change in USPS policy, all "route" mail which in the past has been given directly to the route driver by the post office will now have to be sent to Lafayette for sorting and from there??.  Due date before penalties is still the 19th so if you need the amount due prior to receiving your bill please call the town hall @ 219-984-5494.
