The town has been busy securing funding for a water grant which will benefit everyone in town. We will be closing on the grant in June and hope to break ground by late June early July. With this grant money the town will be updating lines around town that are in need of updating, digging a new potable well, installing automatic read water meter equipment and software and doing some needed upgrades and replacing filter media and cleaning the equipment at the water treatment plant. The total project is expected to take until early to mid year 2024. Please be patient with and courteous to all contractors helping to improve our home town.
The park board and town council have been working hard on plans for a pavilion with covered picnic area and handicapped accessible bathrooms at the splash pad. We are currently waiting on bids from contractors and will update here as progress is made on the project.
