These are just a few of the projects we will be concentrating on over the next few years:
- Street Paving
- Maintenance of other streets until they can be paved. The goal is to eventually have all the streets in town paved but this will take several years!
- Upgrade to ADA Compliant Sidewalks
- Install and upgrade sidewalks for kids walking to and from school
- Install new sidewalks on the West side of town so children can safely walk to/from the bus stop
- Downtown Beautification Project: new sidewalks, antique street lights, new storm drains for more effective drainage, etc.
- Possible New Community Building
We look forward to continuing to improve our little Town of Chalmers.
